Crimson Mountains

The Crimson Mountains are an Hartal vulcan shard to the west of the Rikan Empire and the Pan-Kai Alliance. They are the southern part of a continent spanning spine of mountains. The dark blood reddish hue in the soil and rocks give the seven mountains their namesake. Three of the largest mountains billow sulfuric smoke and bleed rivers of lava like material. The rivers of lava pour into the ocean to the east unnaturally evaporating into a toxic, mutating steam, while to the west it infects and eats away at the ever growing Darkened Forest. The demonic lava mutates and corrupts the already hostile Thrala denizens of the thick forest.
